Bariloche to host fourth NAVE de No Ficción journalism festival

The fourth edition of the NAVE de No Ficción festival will take place in San Carlos de Bariloche from November 5 to 7. Organized by the Fundación de Periodismo Patagónico, the event gathers journalists, writers, photographers, and filmmakers to discuss narrative journalism and the art of storytelling.

The program includes workshops, photo exhibitions, documentaries, and book presentations. Featured participants include guest of honor María Moreno, who will lead an exclusive workshop, and writer Martín Caparrós, who will join virtually from Spain.

A central theme of this year's festival is the crisis of freedom of expression in Latin America, featuring discussions with Jaime Abello Banfi of the Fundación Gabo and Chilean journalist Mónica González. Other sessions will address the challenges of journalism in the current political climate and the struggle to maintain investigative depth in an era of immediate digital content.
