Bariloche unveils candidates for 2026 National Snow Queen contest

Ten young women were officially presented as candidates for the 2026 Reina Nacional de la Nieve (National Snow Queen) at the Teatro La Baita in Bariloche, Argentina. The ceremony, attended by Mayor Walter Cortés, tourism secretary Eric Guzmán, municipal council leaders and the current Snow Queen Agustina Rodríguez Vida, highlighted the role of the candidates as ambassadors for the city.

The candidates will undergo a program of training—including runway walking, theatre, dance, makeup and coaching—before the final election, which will be decided by a single‑ballot, in‑person voting system. A solidarity parade is scheduled for 8 August at the By Pass nightclub.
