Barisan Nasional confident of retaining Linggi seat in Negeri Sembilan state election
Barisan Nasional (BN) candidates expressed confidence that the party will keep the Linggi state‑assembly seat in the upcoming Negeri Sembilan state election on 12 August. Candidate Datuk Mohd Faizal Ramli said the continued support of local residents, youth engagement programmes and his record of service as a former state executive council member give him an advantage. UMNO secretary‑general Datuk Sumali Reduan echoed this optimism, noting the positive response from community members and urging voters to turn out early with identification.
Both leaders appealed to voters to vote wisely, emphasizing loyalty to the candidate despite competition from the state Menteri Besar and stressing the importance of early polling to avoid congestion.
