Barletta striker Mateus Da Silva shines in Serie C campaign

Barletta's attacking trio of Mateus Castro Da Silva, Alexis Ferrante, and Anthony Partipilo has become a central force in the team's early Serie C campaign. The trio has collectively scored six goals in the first three official matches, with Da Silva leading the charge by netting four goals.

In a recent match against Crotone, Da Silva secured a crucial goal in the 47th minute following a precise service from Partipilo. This goal allowed Barletta to control the tempo of the game. Da Silva's scoring streak includes a goal in a 3-3 draw against Casertana and a brace during the derby against Bari.

Manager Massimo Paci has noted the challenges of the away fixture in Calabria while emphasizing the offensive potential of his frontline. The club's president has also indicated that interest from higher-tier clubs is growing regarding Da Silva's performance.
