Barneys New York announces exclusive SSSTEIN capsule collection

Barneys New York has announced an exclusive capsule collection in collaboration with the brand SSSTEIN, scheduled for release on October 9, 2026. The collection focuses on a genderless wardrobe that emphasizes the unique characteristics of various materials.

The lineup features items crafted from deadstock fabrics and leather, including tweed coats, tweed blousons, cargo pants, and leather items designed to change appearance over time. Some pieces utilize sulfur dyeing combined with bleaching and washing techniques to create a vintage, textured aesthetic.

A pop-up event to commemorate the launch will be held at the Barneys New York Ginza flagship store from October 9 to October 26, 2026.
