Niterói hosts TEA Global Congress 2026 for 17,000 participants
The TEA Global Congress 2026 in Niterói has gathered 17,000 participants and over 160 national and international speakers to discuss Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The event, held at Caminho Niemeyer, covers diverse topics including health, education, science, technology, and public policy. A key focus of the discussions is the transition of autistic individuals into adulthood and the necessity of permanent support systems for families.
In addition to the congress, various cultural and community events are taking place across Brazil. These include the 29th Pan-Amazonian Book Fair in Belém, which celebrates Amazonian identity, and the 34th National Bookstore Convention in São Paulo, where independent booksellers are leading the curation to discuss sector challenges. Other regional highlights include the Choro Jazz Festival on Marajó Island, the Winter Festival in Bonito, and the 17th National Motorcyclist Meeting in Mariana.
