Barolo to open new municipal micronido in September
The municipality of Barolo will open a new municipal micronido on September 1 in via Monforte. The facility will provide 15 places for young children, complementing the town's existing nursery, primary, and middle schools.
Demand for the service is already high, with approximately 20 requests received for the 15 available spots. The municipal-owned structure will be managed by Deborah Passavant, who currently operates other nurseries.
The micronido is named in honor of Gigi Pira, a local benefactor who donated part of the land where the facility is built. Mayor Fulvio Mazzocchi stated that the project aims to strengthen the local school complex and ensure continuity in educational services from early childhood through middle school.
