Baron Corbin discusses WWE return and potential retirement

Professional wrestler Baron Corbin has addressed the circumstances surrounding his return to WWE and his future in the industry. After leaving the company in 2024 to compete on the independent circuit in Mexico, Europe, and Australia, Corbin stated that he never reached out to Triple H to request a job, asserting, “I will not beg for a job.” He noted that his contact with Triple H remained personal until WWE contacted him in December 2025.

Corbin, who returned to SmackDown on July 10, indicated that his current multi-year contract may be the final one of his career. He expressed a desire to achieve specific career milestones, most notably winning a world championship, before retiring. Corbin emphasized that he intends to leave the ring while still performing at his physical peak rather than staying long enough to see his abilities decline.
