Baronits Gábor adopts rescued dog Lili

Hungarian actor Baronits Gábor, who grew up with dogs, decided at age 30 to adopt a pet rather than buy one. After posting a request for adoption on Facebook, he was matched with Lili, a two‑year‑old Labrador‑vizsla mix from a shelter in Pécs that was slated for euthanasia. He rescued her, and the dog has lived with him ever since.

Gábor’s wife, actress Oczella Eszter, also embraced Lili, who became a constant companion during the COVID‑19 lockdown when filming stopped. The dog even took part in the couple’s wedding ceremony, underscoring her importance to the family.
