Barosky enters studio with Appietus following return to Ghana

Veteran Ghanaian highlife musician Barosky, born Isaac Obeng Mensah, has been seen in a recording studio with producer Appietus following his recent return to Ghana. The studio session, captured in a video shared by Appietus on September 9, shows the two musicians singing together.

Barosky was repatriated to Ghana on September 7 after footage surfaced showing him in a vulnerable state on the streets of Manchester, United Kingdom. The Ghanaian government, through the Foreign Affairs Ministry, funded his return and is providing financial assistance and psychosocial support to aid his reintegration into society. The repatriation followed interventions from Ghana’s High Commission in the UK.
