Barpeta Braves beat Jorhat Stallions by eight wickets in APL 2026

The Barpeta Braves defeated the Jorhat Stallions by eight wickets in match 22 of the Assam Premier League (APL) 2026 at the ACA Stadium. The victory moves the Barpeta Braves into fourth place on the points table.

Earlier in the match, Shubham Kumar Gupta led the bowling effort for the Braves, taking 4/28 to restrict the Stallions to a total of 124/6. Despite a 50-run contribution from Jorhat skipper Swarupam Purkayastha and a late 25* from Nihar Narah, the Stallions were unable to set a high target.

During the run chase, Saurav Mousum Dihingia anchored the innings with an unbeaten 64 off 48 balls. He shared a 103-run partnership for the second wicket with Pranjal Paul, who contributed 40 runs, allowing the Braves to reach the target in 16.3 overs.
