Barquisimeto to host 500 athletes for National Fencing competition

Barquisimeto will host 500 athletes for a National Fencing Valid Test from October 9 to 11 at the ‘Jacinto Lara’ Weapons Room. The event features participants from 16 Venezuelan entities, including Anzoátegui, Aragua, Bolívar, and Zulia, focusing on youth categories such as mini, infantil, precadete, and juvenil.

Notable participants include members of the Limardo Olympic family, with Noris and Alex Rubén Limardo competing in the mini mixed épée category, and Gaby Limardo competing in the precadete and infantil B categories. Additionally, Albert Rivas, a recent South American modern pentathlon champion, will compete in the male juvenile épée category.
