Barra do Bugres adopts municipal integrity program

The municipality of Barra do Bugres has become the fourth city in Mato Grosso to adopt the Technical Reference for the Implementation of Integrity Programs in Municipalities. This initiative aims to strengthen transparency, administrative efficiency, and public trust in government management.

The formal agreement was signed at the headquarters of the State Comptroller General (CGE-MT) by Mayor Maria Azenilda Pereira and other officials. The program, developed by the Public Management Control Network of Mato Grosso, serves as a practical guide for municipalities of various sizes to prevent irregularities, manage risks, and combat corruption through improved internal controls and social oversight.
