Barra do Bugres and Barra de São Francisco upgrade school facilities

The municipality of Barra do Bugres announced a series of investments to expand and adapt school spaces, improve kitchens and dining areas, and strengthen specialized educational care for children. The upgrades were presented by mayor Azenilda Pereira and education secretary Regivaldo Alves, highlighting new classrooms, a dedicated early‑stimulation area and enhanced resources for cognitive, motor, social and emotional development.

In the neighboring municipality of Barra de São Francisco, the city council approved the installation of twenty air‑conditioning units in the Elizabeth Trzoseki da Silva school, along with a new 150 kVA transformer, upgraded power lines and a 400‑ampere circuit breaker. School director Angélica Poubel said the improvements will provide a more comfortable thermal environment for students, teachers and staff, supporting better teaching and learning conditions.
