Brazil celebrates Children's Day with diverse cultural and educational events

Various cities and institutions across Brazil are hosting diverse events and educational programs to celebrate Children's Day and promote community engagement.

In major urban centers, shopping malls and parks are offering entertainment, such as the Kidzhouse programming at Parque Villa-Lobos and workshops at Shopping Ponta Negra and Shopping Itaguaçu. Cultural venues like the Teatro Municipal de São Gonçalo and Sesc Guarulhos are presenting plays and musical performances. Some initiatives, such as the Necrotour Infantil at the Penitência Cemetery, use storytelling to explore history and architecture with children.

Educational and social programs are also prominent. The Instituto SECI in Santo André held a community celebration focused on nutrition and social-emotional development, while Multiplan's Multiplique Alegria initiative provided leisure and gifts to children from social institutions in Belo Horizonte. Schools in various municipalities, including Matinhos and Ubatuba, are implementing projects to connect students with local history, biodiversity, and cultural heritage through practical, out-of-classroom experiences.
