Barra do Garças hosts 3rd Clean Face Anti-Drug Festival

The Civil Police, in partnership with the Barra do Garças Regional office and the Municipal Executive Power, is hosting the third edition of the Clean Face Anti-Drug Festival from November 3 to 7. The initiative aims to raise awareness among children and adolescents regarding the risks of drug use and violence prevention.

The program includes educational lectures for students from the municipal school system of Barra do Garças and neighboring municipalities. These sessions, held at the Municipal Amphitheater and various educational institutions, focus on preventing violence against minors and combating illicit substance use.

The festival concludes on Saturday at the Vila Olímpica de Barra do Garças with sports activities. Scheduled events include a children's race, a 5-kilometer adult run, and a 1.9-kilometer walk. A Civil Police armored vehicle will also be featured in the event exhibition.
