Barra Mansa cancels Ponte dos Arcos bridge closure

The City Hall of Barra Mansa has canceled the planned closure of the Ataulfo Pinto dos Reis Bridge, also known as the Ponte dos Arcos, scheduled for Sunday. The suspension was prompted by weather forecasts predicting rain.

The planned maintenance, conducted in partnership with Light, involved tree pruning on Rua Presidente Getúlio Vargas to reduce risks to the electrical grid. Due to the cancellation, traffic will flow normally in both directions, and temporary changes to bus stops at Beira-Rio have been revoked. A new date for the services will be announced later.
