Brazil expands entrepreneurship support through education and training
Various initiatives in Brazil are focusing on entrepreneurship development through education, networking, and specialized support.
In São Paulo, the city government has opened registrations for the ‘Fábrica de Negócios’ course, offering 480 free spots for small business owners to learn about financial control, pricing, and digital sales. Similarly, the Federal University of Goiás (UFG) has launched its 9th Entrepreneurship Prize to encourage students to transform academic research into viable business solutions.
On a broader scale, the Instituto Êxito de Empreendedorismo has presented a National Manifesto for Entrepreneurial Education, advocating for the integration of entrepreneurial skills into the national education policy to prepare citizens for the digital economy.
Regional support continues through programs like ‘Negócios no Bairro’ in São José dos Pinhais and networking events in Barra Mansa, which aim to provide practical guidance on formalization, management, and professional connections. Additionally, the DesBRAva platform, a collaboration between Embratur and Sebrae, has reached 5,000 members, facilitating the internationalization of the Brazilian tourism sector.
