Argentina regional economic initiatives: Córdoba launches installment plan

Various regional economic and social initiatives are being implemented across Argentina. In Córdoba, Governor Martín Llaryora launched the ‘Cuotazas’ program under the Córdoba Impulsa umbrella. This initiative allows consumers to make purchases in up to 20 interest-free installments using the Cordobesa card at over 3,400 participating businesses. The plan includes specific installment tiers for different sectors, such as 6 installments for pharmacies and 20 for technology.

In Chaco, the government signed an agreement with the Barranqueras Chamber of Commerce to fund the construction of its own headquarters, a project decades in the making. Additionally, the province is supporting sports infrastructure through the construction of a covered court for Club Deportivo Luján in Villa Río Negro.

Other regional developments include a financial assistance program in San Juan for small mining producers, totaling approximately one billion pesos to promote formalization and equipment acquisition. In Corrientes, the housing institute (Invico) has launched a digital platform to streamline housing applications. Meanwhile, in the province of Tierra del Fuego, 36 entrepreneurs completed the ‘Emprender para Crecer’ program, which provides training and mentorship to strengthen local business management.
