Barrette Outdoor Living to lay off 59 workers in Galloway Township

Barrette Outdoor Living, a division of Oldcastle APG, has announced plans to lay off 59 workers at its Egg Harbor City operation in Galloway Township. The company filed notice of these layoffs with the New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce Development, with the cuts scheduled for December 13 and 14.

This announcement follows previous workforce reductions at the same facility. In July 2025, the company laid off 120 workers after deciding to phase out paint line operations. While the company previously stated that assembly and distribution roles would remain unaffected by those specific cuts, these new layoffs represent further reductions at the Tilton Road production plant.

Barrette Outdoor Living, which produces outdoor décor such as fencing, decking, and railings, has operated in South Jersey since 2014. The company employs over 2,000 people across the United States and Canada.
