Barron Trump targeted in Iranian state TV threat video

Iranian state television has broadcast a video targeting Barron Trump, the son of U.S. President Donald Trump, offering a $10 million reward for anyone who can reach him. The segment, titled ‘Where to kill Barron Trump?’, reportedly included attempts to map his social connections and identify ways to bypass Secret Service protection.

Reports indicate the bounty may be doubled if an attack is carried out by a woman. While the broadcast utilized dramatized scenes and lacked independently verified evidence of successful operational breaches, it marks a significant escalation in personal threats from Iranian state media against the Trump family. Previous threats have targeted Melania Trump and involved slogans appearing on billboards in Tehran.

The U.S. Secret Service has confirmed it is actively monitoring the situation. This development follows a history of tensions, including 2022 Department of Justice charges against an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) member for a plot to assassinate former National Security Advisor John Bolton.
