Beatles biopic cast recreates iconic Abbey Road cover

Actors Harris Dickinson, Paul Mescal, Joseph Quinn, and Barry Keoghan were recently filmed recreating the iconic ‘Abbey Road’ album cover in London. The scene is part of Sam Mendes’ upcoming project, ‘The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event’, which is scheduled for a simultaneous release in April 2028 through Sony Pictures.

The ambitious production consists of four interconnected films, each told from the perspective of a different band member. The cast includes Mescal as Paul McCartney, Dickinson as John Lennon, Quinn as George Harrison, and Keoghan as Ringo Starr. Other notable cast members include Saoirse Ronan as Linda McCartney and James Norton as Brian Epstein.

The project has received official endorsement from The Beatles and their estates, granting access to the band’s full music catalog. Production involves significant scale, with reports suggesting a total budget exceeding $400 million for the four-film series.
