Barry Keoghan undergoes cosmetic skin treatment
Irish actor Barry Keoghan has undergone a non-invasive skin-tightening treatment known as XERF to address concerns regarding his changing appearance. The procedure, which costs approximately $6,000, was performed by celebrity skin specialist Nilam Holmes.
Keoghan, known for his roles in ‘Saltburn’ and ‘The Banshees of Inisherin’, revealed the treatment following months of online scrutiny and abuse regarding his looks. He previously stated in an interview that the criticism had reached a point where he no longer wanted to “go outside.”
XERF is a radio frequency treatment designed to stimulate collagen and elastin production beneath the skin without the use of needles. Keoghan is currently filming a four-film Beatles project directed by Sam Mendes, in which he portrays Ringo Starr.
