Barry Manilow cancels Las Vegas shows due to bronchitis
Singer Barry Manilow has canceled scheduled performances at the International Theater at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino following a diagnosis of bronchitis. The 83-year-old artist had recently returned to the stage on Thursday, October 8, after a six-week hiatus to recover from lung cancer.
Reports indicate that Manilow abruptly ended his Friday, October 9, concert after performing only two songs. Following the early exit, his band played instrumentals before an announcement was made over the PA system that the show had concluded. The concert scheduled for Saturday, October 10, was canceled entirely, with Ticketmaster issuing refund notifications to attendees.
The health setback follows Manilow’s public disclosure in December 2025 regarding a stage 1 lung cancer diagnosis, which was discovered during scans for a previous bout of bronchitis. While the singer has been in remission and recently celebrated his return to the stage, the recurring respiratory issues have impacted his residency schedule.
