Bart Blatstein wins boxing match at age 71

Bart Blatstein, the 71-year-old CEO of Tower Investments and owner of the Showboat Resort, won his opening match at the Pat Johnson New Jersey Masters Boxing Championship. Competing as part of the Gleason's Gym roster, Blatstein defeated Steve Schiavoni on August 22, 2026.

The tournament, held at the Showboat Atlantic City’s boutique boxing venue, is the largest masters boxing event on the East Coast. The competition served as a fundraiser for the New Jersey “Give a Kid a Dream” Champions of Life program.
