Bartın and Zonguldak Advance Regional Agriculture and Investment Projects

Agricultural directors Murat Türkmen of Bartın and Nihat Ağan of Zonguldak led a joint field inspection in the Çaycuma greenhouse district, reviewing modern soil‑free tomato cultivation, sustainable production methods and the potential for value‑added crops such as salep. The delegation included regional officials and university experts and aimed to transfer technology, increase yields and stimulate the western Black Sea economy.

A BAKKA investment‑support team visited Ulus to evaluate the Tekstilkent (Youth‑Employment) project. Coordinated by Dr. Şahin Baş, the group met with Mayor Hasan Hüseyin Uzun and the district’s Fen İşleri chief Abdülkadir Oğuz, inspecting planned facilities and discussing how the project will generate jobs for young people and attract private investment to the area.
