Bartın emerges as a major Black Sea tourism destination

Bartın, which gained provincial status in 1991 after separating from Zonguldak, has emerged as a significant tourism destination in Turkey's Black Sea region.

The district of Amasra serves as the province's primary tourism driver, attracting thousands of domestic and international visitors. This surge in popularity is attributed to the area's natural beauty, historical texture, and increased visibility through film productions and social media influence.

In addition to Amasra, the province includes the districts of Ulus and Kurucaşile. Bartın currently comprises four districts, eight municipalities, and 258 villages.
