Bartolomé Bavio celebrates 125th anniversary with community festivities
The town of Bartolomé Bavio, located in the Magdalena district of Buenos Aires province, is preparing to celebrate its 125th anniversary on Sunday, August 16. The festivities, organized by the Municipality of Magdalena and local institutions, will be free to the public.
The day's program begins at 10:00 AM at Plaza José Hernández with a protocol ceremony led by Mayor Lisandro Hourcade, followed by a Civic, Military, and Traditionalist parade. Activities will then move to the Predio de la Estación, featuring a popular lunch with grilled meat, kermesse games, historical tours, and children's entertainment.
In the evening, musical performances will take place at Club Racing, including acts such as La Viajera Rock, La Fogonera, El Cordobés, Anabella, and Santamarta. All proceeds from food and beverage sales will be donated to local community institutions, including schools, clubs, and the Volunteer Firefighters.
