Bartłomiej Lemański confirms injury is not serious ahead of European Championship
Polish volleyball player Bartłomiej Lemański has confirmed that a recent injury is not serious, easing concerns regarding his availability for the upcoming European Championship. The middle blocker sustained the injury during a match against Slovenia during the Wagner Memorial tournament.
Lemański stated that an ultrasound revealed the issue is a recurring old injury that should only require a few days of recovery. This follows similar reassurances from coach Nikola Grbić, who noted that the injury did not involve any fractures.
The Polish national team recently won the XXIII Wagner Memorial in Krakow for the 12th time after defeating France 3-1 in the final. Poland is scheduled to begin its European Championship campaign on September 10 against Portugal in Sofia.
