Barton Gold receives environmental approval for Tunkillia Gold Project

Barton Gold Holdings Limited has announced that the South Australian Department for Energy & Mining (DEM) has approved the environmental Scoping Report for the Tunkillia Gold Project. This approval establishes the official terms of reference for the project’s development approvals process and serves as a primary step toward securing a Mining Lease (ML).

The approved report defines the necessary environmental studies, modeling, and community engagement programs required to obtain future development approvals. By establishing this scope early, the company aims to reduce uncertainty and expedite the approval process.

Barton Gold is currently awaiting updated JORC Mineral Resource Estimates for gold and silver following the completion of approximately 58,000 meters of upgrade drilling. The company is targeting the publication of Ore Reserves and a Pre-feasibility Study (PFS) for large-scale production in the first quarter of 2027.
