Bartosz Kurek discusses financial security and investments

Polish volleyball star Bartosz Kurek has discussed his financial security and investment strategies following a highly successful professional career. The 37-year-old athlete, known for his long tenure with the Polish national team, currently plays for Tokyo Great Bears in Japan, where his annual earnings are estimated to be between 4 and 6 million PLN.

Kurek previously earned significant income playing for Wolfdogs Nagoya, with reports indicating a seasonal salary of approximately 1.1 million USD. He noted that while economic factors initially influenced his decision to move to the Japanese league, he now finds the quality of play improving and enjoys living in Japan.

Regarding his long-term financial planning, Kurek stated that he has worked to establish a level of security but does not intend to live a life of leisure after retirement. He currently maintains a conservative investment approach, focusing primarily on gold and real estate.
