Polish rider Bartosz Zmarzlik finished on the podium in the Speedway Grand Prix final in Manchester, but Australian Brady Kurtz overtook him to become the leader of the season series. Zmarzlik, a six‑time world champion, described the race as “the race of the season” and said he “counted every position,” noting adjustments to his bike that helped his performance.

The event saw Kurtz claim the top spot in the overall standings, gaining three points on Zmarzlik, while fellow Australian Jack Holder completed the podium. Zmarzlik commented on the track conditions and his riding line, explaining that a weaker bike and fatigue affected his speed, but he remained satisfied with the result.
