Heavy rain hit Wrocław on 20 June 2026, turning the Olympic Stadium’s speedway track into a flooded basin. The deluge forced a 168‑minute (about 2.8 hours) postponement and required fire‑brigade crews and technical staff to drain water from the track and riders’ pits.

Despite further problems – a loss of power to the start tape and riders briefly racing on a flag – the event resumed around 21:48.
