Barum Czech Rally Zlín 2026 schedule and driver lineup announced
The 55th Barum Czech Rally Zlín is scheduled to take place from August 14–16, 2026, featuring a total of 205.79 km of special stages. The event includes various locations such as Zlín, Pohořelice, and Troják, and is recognized as one of the most demanding rounds in the European Rally Championship (ERC) due to its fast forest sections, narrow village roads, and unpredictable weather.
Teemu Suninen enters the rally as the ERC leader following a victory in Rally Poland. Suninen has expressed caution regarding the treacherous Czech routes and the high level of local competition. Other key contenders include Miko Marczyk, who is seeking to improve upon his previous fifth-place finish in Zlín, and Andrea Mabellini, who currently holds second place in the championship standings.
The rally schedule includes a qualifying stage and shakedown on Friday, followed by multiple special stages on Saturday and Sunday, concluding with a power stage in Kateřinice. Local authorities have warned of road closures and public transport diversions in the Zlín region during the event.
