Barutz debuts short film ‘Il piano era un altro’ at Venice Film Festival
Artist Francesco Baruto, known as Barutz, has debuted his first short film, ‘Il piano era un altro – Verso 2 ore d’aria’, at the Venice International Film Festival. The premiere took place at the Hotel Excelsior in the Veneto Region space, attended by the President of the Veneto Region, Alberto Stefani.
The approximately 20-minute film, directed and written by Charlie Tango for The Munchies, features the popular character Nonna Marisa. The plot follows Nonna Marisa and her grandson Filippo on a mysterious mission to right a wrong, involving an unlikely team of friends and a series of twists and turns.
Following a successful run of sold-out theater performances and social media popularity, Barutz is planning a limited tour of event screenings across Northern Italy in October. These events will include live comedy performances by the artist, film screenings, and meet-and-greet sessions with the audience.
