Barzio's Sagra delle Sagre launches 61st '60+1' edition under new PK Events management

The 61st edition of the Sagra delle Sagre in Barzio, Valsassina, was inaugurated with a ribbon‑cutting ceremony on Saturday. The festival, now branded “60+1”, marks a transition to new organizers – PK Events, led by Enrico “Chicco” Bellano and Marco Bolis – who will run the event for the next three years.

The new programme adds a redesigned exhibition area, a dedicated Kids Zone, an arena for live music and an expanded marketplace aimed at promoting local products, artisans and tourism. Organisers expect around 100,000 visitors over the nine‑day run, hoping the refreshed format will boost the valley’s economic and cultural profile while preserving the tradition of the long‑running fair.
