Base Group to build Trump International Golf Club in South Korea

Base Group, a South Korean conglomerate, has announced plans to establish the Trump International Golf Club in Hanam, Gyeonggi Province. This project marks the first Trump-branded golf development in Northeast Asia.

The company previously made headlines for a $2 million payment to the Trump Organization. Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization, stated that the Korean market offers tremendous potential for a world-class, Trump-branded golf course. Base Group Chairman Kim Sung-jib described the project as a milestone for the domestic golf industry, aiming to create a luxury destination for the broader region.
