Rivera also shared details regarding his environmental initiatives in Samaná, Dominican Republic, through the Nordeste Sostenible program, which focuses on cleaning bays, eliminating open landfills, and promoting responsible tourism.

Separately, the Arizona Diamondbacks honored Junior Noboa during their Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations. Noboa, who has been with the organization for 32 years, was recognized for his role in developing Latin American talent. He has served as the Vice President of Latin American Operations for 15 years, overseeing player recruitment and academy operations in Boca Chica, Dominican Republic.
