Baseball games suspended or delayed due to heavy rain in Mexico and Venezuela

Heavy rainfall has disrupted baseball schedules across multiple regions. In Venezuela, a game at Estadio José Bernardo Pérez in Valencia was paralyzed by rain for three hours. After resuming at 9:00 p.m., Magallanes secured a victory against Zulia, highlighted by a grand slam from Francisco Álvarez in the eighth inning.

In Mexico, intense rains in the northwest have forced the suspension of several games in the Liga Mexicana del Pacífico. In Guasave, Sinaloa, the game between Algodoneros de Guasave and Yaquis de Obregón at Kuroda Park was postponed after rain damaged areas of the field not covered by tarps. The series has been rescheduled for later in the week.

Additionally, heavy rains in southern Sonora led to the rescheduling of a game between Mayos de Navojoa and Águilas de Mexicali. These weather events have impacted various venues across the states of Nayarit and Sinaloa.
