Baseball prospect reviews highlight top performers for Diamondbacks and Braves

Following the conclusion of the Major and Minor League Baseball seasons, various organizations have released end-of-season prospect evaluations.

Within the Arizona Diamondbacks farm system, David Hagaman has emerged as a top candidate for pitcher of the year. Hagaman, acquired in the Merrill Kelly trade, demonstrated strong performance across High-A Hillsboro and Double-A Amarillo. In the Texas League, he recorded a 2.55 ERA and a 32.4% strikeout rate over seven starts. The Diamondbacks' Double-A affiliate, the Amarillo Sod Poodles, also secured the Texas League Championship.

The Atlanta Braves have finalized their Top 30 prospect rankings for the year. Cam Caminiti holds the number one spot following a dominant second half of the season, where he pitched 114.2 innings with a 3.38 ERA. Other notable movements in the Braves' rankings include Conor Essenburg, who rose to seventh place after a strong performance in Augusta.
