Baselland police called by children after safe discovery

The final week of summer holiday childcare programs in Switzerland featured a series of activities themed around the elements. Participants engaged in water-based crafts, visited the Birsmattehof in Therwil to harvest vegetables and interact with farm animals, and visited the Jump Factory to explore trampolines.

Due to ongoing drought and fire bans, a planned forest excursion was replaced with a visit to Margarethenpark. During this outing, children discovered an opened safe, prompting them to contact the Kantonspolizei Baselland. Police officers arrived to collect the safe and commended the children for their helpfulness.
