Basij leader Hossein Taeb calls for strong negotiations
Hossein Taeb, head of Iran’s Basij organization, stated during a meeting with Basij leaders in Tehran that if enemies request negotiations, Iran must enter them from a position of strength to secure its rights. Taeb emphasized that negotiations should not be driven by weakness or fear.
Taeb also called for national unity to counter perceived attempts by the United States to incite internal division. He highlighted the importance of strengthening national security and noted the resilience shown by the Iranian people during recent conflicts.
Additionally, Taeb referenced upcoming large-scale military maneuvers in Tehran involving 313,000 participants. Brigadier General Hassan Hassanzadeh of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps added that these exercises demonstrate the readiness and strength of the capital's security.
