Basileu França school sends large delegation to YAGP ballet competition

The Escola do Futuro de Goiás (EFG) em Artes Basileu França will send its largest delegation to the Brazilian qualifying stage of the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP). A total of 56 students from the institution will participate in the event held from October 20 to 24 in Barueri, São Paulo.

The YAGP is a major international ballet competition that selects participants for its world finals, scheduled for April and May 2027 in Tampa, Florida. Since 2023, the Basileu França school has earned over 60 international dance awards, and has secured more than 40 prizes specifically through the YAGP since 2019, often leading to scholarships and contracts with international dance companies.

In addition to the competitive categories, the Cia Jovem Basileu França is scheduled to perform the ballet ‘Don Quixote’ at the Praça das Artes in Barueri on October 23.
