Basileu França students selected for Prix de Lausanne 2027

Four dancers from the Escola do Futuro de Goiás em Artes Basileu França have been selected to participate in the Prix de Lausanne 2027. The students, Arthur Henrique Bueno, Carlos Eduardo Araújo, Pablo de Paula Ribeiro, and Vinícius Nunes Sousa, will compete in the international ballet competition held in Switzerland from January 31 to February 7, 2027.

Arthur Henrique Bueno secured his spot during the Latin American Pre-Selection in June. The other three dancers were chosen through an international video selection process, where nine dance professionals evaluated 412 candidates from 36 countries. The 2027 edition will feature 81 participants from 17 countries.

Simone Malta, the dance coordinator at EFG Basileu França, attributed the achievement to the institution's training programs and investment from the Government of Goiás. The school has a history of success at the competition, including notable results in 2023 and 2024.
