Basilia Basket Potenza unveils roster for 2026/2027 season

BCC Basilicata Basilia Basket Potenza has officially presented its roster for the 2026/2027 Serie B Femminile season. The presentation took place on August 31 at Villa Rosa in Contrada Rifreddo, marking the start of the new sporting year and the team's first week of intensive training.

The technical staff is led by coach Antonio Paternoster and athletic trainer Giovanni Ginefra, supported by assistant coach Giovanni Messina and specialist Dr. Filomena Ferracane.

The roster features several returning players, including captain Giovanna Chiapperino, Ginevra Lemma, Anna Schembari, and Portuguese playmaker Mariana Garrido. Notably, forward Sofia Mazzullo returns to the club after a six-year absence. New additions to the squad include Greta Clementi, Luz Mia De Giacomo, Matilda Cherubini, and Federica Del Bosco. The team will also be bolstered by Under-19 players competing in the Campania championship.
