Basilica Palladiana hosts Italian-German art exhibition

The exhibition cycle ‘Ispirazione Europa’ has launched in Vicenza, beginning with the ‘Italia Germania. Pittura e scultura tra Ottocento e Novecento. Da Canova a Kiefer’ event. This initiative, hosted at the Basilica Palladiana, aims to explore European identity through the artistic and cultural relationships between Italy, Germany, France, and Spain.

The project is part of a larger three-year cultural program scheduled to continue until 2028. Local officials, including Mayor Giacomo Possamai and Culture Councilor Ilaria Fantin, emphasized that the exhibitions seek to highlight common European roots through art, spanning from the 19th to the 20th century. The official inauguration of the Italian-German exhibition is set for November 13.
