Basilicata completes 98% of PNRR hydrogeological risk interventions

The Basilicata region has completed 98% of the interventions funded by the PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan) aimed at mitigating hydrogeological risk. This achievement has earned formal praise from Fabio Ciciliano, the Head of the National Civil Protection Department.

Basilicata President Vito Bardi expressed his gratitude in a letter to Ciciliano, attributing the success to the daily efforts of regional officials and the Civil Protection Office. Bardi emphasized that the timely use of PNRR resources is essential for protecting citizens, homes, and infrastructure in a territory characterized by geological fragility. He noted that the results demonstrate the effectiveness of institutional cooperation in addressing complex regional challenges.
