Regional infrastructure and environmental projects announced across Italy and Switzerland
Various regional and local infrastructure and environmental projects are underway across Italy and Switzerland.
In Sardinia, the regional government has approved 4.4 million euros for urban regeneration in Lula, Bitti, Onanì, and Orune. This initiative supports the Sos Enattos candidacy for the Einstein Telescope, aiming to improve public spaces, green infrastructure, and community inclusion.
In Switzerland, the Canton of Ticino is providing 4.9 million francs to expand the Balerna Senior Center, which will include a new protected ward for patients with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
