Basilicata healthcare unions urge extension of professional ranking lists

The Cisl Fp trade union has issued an alert regarding the upcoming expiration of professional ranking lists in the Basilicata healthcare sector. For certain roles, such as socio-health operators (OSS), these lists are set to expire on December 31, 2026.

In a formal note addressed to Regional Health Councilor Cosimo Latronico, Health Department Director General Domenico Tripaldi, and regional healthcare executives, the union is requesting the extension of valid ranking lists. The union argues that failing to extend these lists would result in the loss of qualified candidates and necessitate the expenditure of additional public resources to organize new competitive exams.

Pierangelo Galasso, general secretary of Cisl Fp Basilicata, emphasized that it is unnecessary to spend time and money on new recruitment processes when valid lists of suitable candidates already exist. He also called for the utilization of these lists for technical and administrative staff across all regional entities to limit precarious employment, citing legal precedents and legislative requirements.
