Basilicata initiatives focus on urban regeneration and agricultural resilience

The Basilicata Region is organizing technical sessions in Potenza and Matera on September 10 and 11 to discuss urban regeneration projects. These meetings aim to clarify a call for interest focused on the environmental and landscape enhancement of urban settlements under the Cohesion Agreement. The sessions are designed to provide professionals with operational tools and regulatory guidance to ensure high-quality projects for the region's urban centers.

Additionally, the Agriworld Expo 2026 is scheduled for October 8 and 9 at the University of Calabria's Arcavacata Campus. Under the theme ‘Thirsty Lands,’ the event seeks to build a network between institutions, businesses, and academia to address water scarcity and the impacts of climate change on Mediterranean agriculture. The expo will feature research, innovation, and technological transfer discussions to develop long-term water management models.
